Bamboo decoration starts at around 9 a.m. every day; at around 10 a.m., many visitors gather under the Fukinagashi tunnel. Starting at 17:30 in the evening, "Hoshinoyoi Matsuri" (star night festival) begins at Jozenji-dori, which is lined with beautiful zelkova trees.
